She had someone close to her pass away. Thats why she took a break before. Not sure about right now though, Seems extended. SHe had a brief time of offering customs on O F & Manyvids but it was only quick shorter ones. Many of these creators do this as side work. Only if they get extremely succesful can they do it full time. Others grind away with cam work, clips, O F, then hope to get enough money to make it work for them. It's only the top MV stars like Sydney, Bettie, etc. that make bank from their work. Hazel Simone who even had a quick peak at number 1 ranking at Manyvids a couple weeks back, still has a normal, very labour heavy job, as she's shown.
People assume they make a lot but it's not huge and obviously not sustainable.
ManyVids pays them 60% of what their clips sell for (Not including taxes) so they don't even get 50% of the sales.
Customs and tips are 80%, which is closer to 60% when its all finalised and paid.
Most rely on simps like Lil Canadian Girl who gets tipped in contest votes by one guy who has many accounts. Literally pours in many thousands of dollars monthly. Other than the top 10 or so stars at MV, most would be lucky to make over $1K a week from that work.
There's times when they make $500 in a day. The next week they might make only $50. You can even see their sales & tips on their feeds. Kind of sad looking at some of them who are supposed to be big names but aren't really selling many clips or memberships.
They need simps or amazing deals to get ahead.
Porn workers can't advertise themselves so they have to rely on putting out really good work thats popular to most. The only advertising they get is from us uploaders lol. Even though they hate it, it actually helps them gain followers and people buying their clips. I don't think any of them understand that though! The forums have hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people on there. Thats where they get their fans from. As long as their whole collection isn't available on the forums, if people like them from the free samples. They will purchase their content, they only need a select few that are downloading to start purchasing.
